The Hollows (Rachel Morgan) Digest – News and spoiler answers revealed!
Hi guys, since there’s a lot of new info with the book release, I decided to compile some Hollows updates. First, Kim Harrison has posted an interiew about the book and the series. I’ve also decided to include some new facts that you guys might like to know if you already didn’t (Beware of spoilers):
1) A Perfect Blood hit #2 on the New York Times Bestseller list. Pale Demon was #2 as well. GO HOLLOWS!
2) Our beloved Algaliarept had a WIFE!! No joke! Ally Cakes was indeed a hubby! I am super curious as to when that will be discussed in the books. Here’s hoping we learn about it in Ever After (Book 11).
3) We should get to see Trent’s magic hut in the next book, Ever After (Book 11).
3) Yes, Trent would get his pointy ears back after the transformation curse to restore his fingers (I promise you I asked Kim about this first–check March 8, 2011–muahahaha)
4) The anthology Into the Woods: Tales of the Hollows and Beyond with the Million Dollar Baby short story (Trent and Jenks bromace FTW) is available for pre-order. It’s due out in October and it will include 300 pages of new content, so you wouldn’t be purchasing it only for the short story. I’ve already got my order in!

I wonder what Kim thinks of the Mercy Thompsob series since she thinks that a story – or at least Rachel’s story – ends once the heroine finds her man. Mercy found hers in the third book and that series is still going.

Actually, it’d be 9pm for you and 10pm for me. So we should be pretty settled at home ~_^. I’m sure Kim knows about Mercy Thompson. She just chose this route instead.

I will actually be there with a friend and I am SOOO excited. I have my day planned already. Going to Pikes Market first to get a few things and then hang out at the bookstore. I am planning on buying Hollows Insider while I am there; the only book I don’t already have. Patricia Briggs will be there too, so it should be doubly interesting! I am so Darned excited, so does that make me a dork??? haha don’t care. I will send you some pics and maybe a video of some questions I plan on asking!

Oh that interview. I swear she’s going to kill me with her vague answers about Rachel and Trent/Al/whomever. I had to stop going to the drama box ’cause I felt like I need a code breaker to get answers! Love this series dearly though and Hope to catch some of the Q&A tonight!

Yeah, I know the feeling! I had to stop the Drama Box for a while but lately it’s been okay. She seems a little more consistent which I think is a sign that she knows where things are going now.
